Genessy’s Flag Correction

 

My flag represents me in a way in which as we know im a CJ major and am dedicated to being in the Criminal Justice field. Studying law consists of a lot of research so that is why I included statistics i’ve come across about juvenile delinquency which is also an issue in our community. The gun explains how “Delinquents are more likely to live in neighborhoods in which they are likely to have been victimized, giving rise the belief that crime is “NORMAL” and this goes hand in hand with the broken window theory. In comparison to Dahlia Elsayed one of her quotes were “This is my way of marking the experience” and I believe that this quote is ideal with my flag and the juvenile delinquency issue because although i am not the one experiencing the peer pressure and psychiatric illness and lack of parental guidance, someone is. Another quote that stood out from Dahlia Elsayed was “The idea is not that different from putting labels on a map the way another kind of explorer would.” I can relate to this particular quote because I had to find pictures and statistics and cut them out and paste them to the point where it was almost just like putting labels just like an explorer would
